Senator Bob Martin Agricultural Center: They have many horse shows, rodeos, and tractor pulls here. Google maps

Moratock Park & Walking Trail: There is a trail at Moratock Park that follows the Roanoke River. Google maps

The Roanoke Country Club and Golf Course is in Williamston, NC, 3 miles from Big Mill B&B. There is an 18 hole golf course, and visitors are welcome. Let me know if you want a coupon. They also serve lunch and dinner in the adjacent country club. Google maps

Cypress Landing Golfing Community. Located in Chocowinity, about 29 miles from Big Mill B&B, it is a rather upscale golf course. The golf course, grill, and bar overlook the Pamlico River. Google maps

Scotch Hall Golf Preserve. Windsor – Located 33 miles from Big Mill B&B, this golf course is on an old plantation in Bertie County. The development and golf course overlook the Chowan River near Windsor. There is a grill and a pool. Google maps

Robersonville Country Club & Golf CourseThis course is 15 miles from Big Mill B&B in Robersonville, NC. Google maps

Cashie Golf and Country Club, Windsor – This course is located 16 miles from Big Mill B&B in Windsor, NC.  Google maps

Washington Yacht and Country Club, Washington – The marina, country club, and golf course are 26 miles from Big Mill B&B. Google maps

DAY TRIPS

Ft. Branch Historical Site, Hamilton – Rainbow Banks or Ft. Branch is a dirt mound Confederate Fort on the banks of the Roanoke River and is 14 miles from Big Mill B&B. Quilt Trail – Martin County, NC, has 11 quilts painted on barns and buildings  as part of the Roanoke-Tar Rivers Quilt Trail, including one at Big Mill B&B. Chloe’s blog post
