Smoking Policy

We have a no-smoking policy in all our rooms. Smoking is permitted outside on the patios and in the yard. We do, after all, grow tobacco! Please put cigarette butts in the containers provided outside.

Quiet Times

If you are socializing in the Barn Breezeway, please keep noise down, especially between 10 pm and before 8 am. If you all are just having too much fun, you can wander out to the old grape arbor. On the right hand post is the light switch, turn it on and it is magic! Please remember to flip it off as you leave.

Septic System

We are on a septic system. Please conserve water and leave the strainers in all sinks and tubs. And please don’t flush tampons. Thanks!!

Pets

We love animals but we choose to make this bed and breakfast pet-free, because many of our guests have allergies. We have two outside cats – Effie and Raisin. They are friendly and just love to chat. Effie is really sweet and loves our guests. When I ask her to smile, she always puts on a stern face. Raisin loves the guests and seems to like my flower pots. They both will look in your room, but don’t let them inside.
