Old Grape Arbor & Orchard
My dad planted this grape arbor for me in 1971. It is now a wonderful place for guests to gather and have a glass of wine or tea. At night hundreds of tiny twinkling lights make you feel as if you are in a fantasy land. You can turn these on at night – the switch is on the front right post. Please turn them off when you leave. There are chairs and tables and even two hammocks.
In our orchard we have blueberries and 10 fig trees, in varying stages of growth. In 2018 I had to cut all of them to the ground – the winter was so brutal. But they are alive and thriving now. I know 10 fig trees does sound like overkill, but they are all different. I just might plant more!
